The 2016 Bonnes Mares Grand Cru consists of two barrels. Again, the aromatics are very closed at the moment: deep broody dark fruit, briary, subtle violet notes eked out with vigorous swirling of the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with svelte tannin, a fine bead of acidity, quite pure and nicely structured with a candied, cassis and black cherry finish that lingers long in the mouth. I like the elegance here when it could have just tipped over into blowsiness. Excellent.
●ユドロ・バイエ シャンボール・ミュジニー ヴィエーユ・ヴィーニュ [2016]750ml
デリエール・ル・フール、レ・ナゾワール、レ・バビエール、レ・パ・ド・シャ、レ・モンビの5区画で合計1.13ha。約5%、プルミエ・クリュのレ・ボルニック（0.1ha、樹齢約60年）のぶどうがブレンドされています。樹齢約55～75年のVV。新樽30%、1回使用樽30%、2回使用樽40%。
バイエのシャンボール・ミュジニーは、まさに「シャンボール・ミュジニー」らしい華やかさ・エレガントさを兼ね備えた素晴らしいもの。 こちらはさらに樹齢の古い60年以上のヴィエーユ・ヴィーニュです。
